Writing a Narrative Story!

For the past nine weeks, we have been learning about the elements of Narrative writing and how to write a Narrative story. To end this unit, we wrote our own stories! First, each group was responsible for developing a character. Then, each group was assigned a setting. They were responsible for creating a representation of the setting that they were assigned. Finally, each group was responsible for writing a story that included their character, setting, and the other elements of a Narrative story.
Ms. Malcom's group developed a character named "Ms. Malcom" (Lucy's idea- Imagine that!). The setting that they were assigned was the beach. Their story is below!

Mrs. Stowe's group developed a character named "Little Tracy". Their group was assigned the setting of the woods or forest. Their story is below! Jameer came up with the great idea of including the polar bear! :-)

Mrs. Higdon's group developed a character named "Daphne" (DeAsia's contribution). Their assigned setting was outer space. Enoch was quite helpful in choosing the methods of transportation and pet using his communication book. Their story is below!

We had a great time learning about the elements of Narrative writing and applying what we have learned by creating our own stories! We hope that you enjoy them!
