Fun Fantastic Friday- Bird Feeders!

The week before this Fun Fantastic Friday activity, we studied how changes in habitats can affect the plants and animals that live there. We talked about deforestation and forest fires and how they affect birds by destroying their homes and food sources. Mrs. Stowe came up with the great idea to make peanut butter bird feeders to "give back" to the birds that live around our school!

Since Joyria was the "Class STARfish" this week, she was the "helper" during our Fun Fantastic Friday activity. She was thrilled!

Joyria took her job as "helper" quite seriously!

Eliana and Enoch getting ready to make their bird feeders!

Ms. Edwards, our substitute for the day, jumped right in to help! Thanks Ms. Edwards!

DeAsia loved making the bird feeders. I think I saw her sneak a few tastes of peanut butter when she thought we were not looking! Ha! Ha!

Eliana and Enoch still working hard! If I were a bird, I would love their feeders!

Thanks Mrs. Stowe for thinking of the birds that live outside of our school! I'm sure they were quite thankful for their yummy treats!
