We were out of school for one week in February. Mrs. Stowe, Mrs. Sheedy, and I decided to take a few of our precious students (Tony and Draylan) on a trip to the Varsity and MLK, Jr. Center. We had such a great time!

After enjoying lunch at the Varsity, we went to the MLK, Jr. Center!
We visited the memorial site and paid our respects to Dr. King and his wife Coretta!
Here is a picture of our entire group! Mr. John (Mrs. Stowe's husband), Ms. Kelli, Blair, and Judd (Ms. Malcom's sister, niece, and nephew), and Breeanna and Melanie (Mrs. Sheedy's daughters) also joined us!
We visited the birthplace of Dr. King! Amazing to think that he also played on his porch at one time!
The boys were amazed by the memorial!
We got to visit Ebeneezer Baptist Church. This was an amazing experience!
We also visited the museum. It was very neat!

We had such a wonderful day together! We are so thankful for the impact that Dr. King has had on our life!
