Graduation Day- Congratulations Draylan!

Last Friday was a very special day in our classroom. It was GRADUATION DAY for Draylan!

Mrs. Stowe, Ms. Malcom, and Tony snuck off during lunch to decorate the classroom.

Draylan said that he wanted a football party. We had lots of yummy treats: soda, chips, dip, a football cake, and Ninja Turtle cupcakes!

We were so excited and couldn't wait for the class to return from lunch!

Tony was our look-out!  :-)

We had this picture on the ActivBoard!

The class returned but where was Draylan? Mrs. Sheedy sent him on an errand. We all hid to surprise him!

SURPRISE!!!!

Mrs. Wilson (one of our Assistant Principals) also came to celebrate with Draylan!

Mettano was so proud of his friend. What a wonderful role model Draylan has been to all of our other students!

Draylan had presents to open. Hunter brought him a toy truck!

Tony brought him the sweetest trophy that had "Best Friend Award" on it!

These two (Tony and Draylan) are such great friends. I know they will miss each other!

Ms. Bell (our OT) brought him a football that all his friends signed.

He was so happy and surprised!

Tony was so sweet. He read all of Draylan's cards to him!

Our class gave him a football too!

Hugs for Ms. Malcom!

The graduate with this cake/ cupcakes!

All of Draylan's teachers are so happy for him. However, we will miss him very much!

Time to enjoy some yummy goodies and time with friends!

Draylan has definitely "reached for the stars"!

Way to go Draylan! We are all very proud of you! In our class, you have made some forever friends!

Gifts from Connecticut!

Mrs. Stowe has a sister who lives in Connecticut. Mrs. Lee has visited us a few times and just loves our students. On this day, we had a very special package from Mrs. Lee. She sent all of our kids coloring books, activity books, and crayons. What a sweet gesture!

We lined them all up and allowed the students to pick out their favorite book. They have thoroughly enjoyed coloring in them during their "free" time!

Thank you so much Mrs. Lee for thinking of us!  You brought smiles to all of our faces!

Holiday Party!

On the last day of school before the holiday break, we had a wonderful holiday party. We had soda, chips, dip, weenie sausages, and a veggie tray. We surely know how to party!

We had been working so hard. It was nice to be able to finally sit down and enjoy each other!

Then, it was time to open presents!

This sweet boy really listens to the "wants" of his teacher. He knew that Ms. Malcom's favorite food was pickles. Look what he brought for Ms. Malcom.  :-)   This is definitely the way to Ms. Malcom's heart. So sweet!
