Learning About Native Americans!

For a few weeks, before the Fall Break, we learned about North American Native American tribes as well as the ways in which they used their environments to obtain food, clothing, and shelter! We had a great time and learned so much! On Friday, we decided to get together with a few of our friends from Mrs. Carter's 4th grade class and try some of these things out on our own!
Enoch's group was responsible for making a teepee!

Lucy's group was responsible for making beaded clothing!

La'Shawn's group was responsible for making representations of some of the foods that the Native Americans ate!

Below are a few pictures of each group working on their assignments!

Beautiful picture of DeAsia!

Still working!

The final projects!

Thanks to our friends from Mrs. Carter's 4th grade class for helping us with this project!
