We Can Read!

What a GREAT day! That's all I can say! I am so proud of our students. They have worked so hard learning their sight words so that they can read. Today, their hard work really paid off. During Reading, each student was given their reading books and together we read "The Cat Sat". After reading it together, La'Shawn volunteered to come to the front of the class and read it to the class all by himself. He did an excellent job! Way to go Everyone!

Ms. Higdon and Enoch read one of the pages from "The Cat Sat" together!

Along with learning our sight words, we have also be learning how to follow along with our "reading finger" as we read. Joyria did an excellent job following along as La'Shawn read the story to the class!

La'Shawn was so proud of himself and we were so proud of him too! He had the biggest smile when he was reading in front of the class! He is also doing an excellent job following along with his "reading finger" as he reads!

We are learning so much! Thanks to all of our wonderful students for their hard work and all of their wonderful parents for working with them and encouraging them to do their best!
