Celebrating the 100th Day of School!

On Wednesday we celebrated the 100th Day of School! Wow!! It's so strange to think that we have already been in school for 100 days!

On this day, we made really cool celebration hats! We used white pipe cleaners to make white hair. We also made models of what we will look like when we are 100 years old!

We also completed an activity where we counted out 100 paper clips, 100 pieces of popcorn, and 100 beans. We glued these items on a big model of 100!
Below, Joyria and Ms. Malcom glue the 100 paper clips on the number zero!

La'Shawn and Ms. Stowe counted out 100 pieces of popcorn and glued them on the other zero!

When Joyria was finished with her paperclips, she assisted La'Shawn with the popcorn! Ms. Higdon glued the 100 beans on the number one!

Joyria's celebration hat fell off when she was working so hard on her project. When we looked over, she had put it back on by herself. We all giggled when we saw that her white "hair" was upside down!

The finished product!

When I look back on the last 100 days, I can't help but be so proud of how much our students have grown (academically and socially) since the first day of school! It is quite amazing! They have truly worked so hard and I am so blessed to be called their teacher! Way to Go!
