On Thursday, we learned about Thomas Edison and his contributions to American life. We researched him on the internet and learned that Thomas Edison invented the light bulb!
Mrs. Higdon had a special surprise for us! She taught us how to create a closed circuit using a battery, aluminum foil, and a penny. Then, we were able to light the light bulb using these items! It was a very cool experiment and the students really enjoyed it!
