Green Eggs and Ham!

Last Tuesday was Dr. Seuss' birthday! It was also Read Across America day! In celebration of this day, we read the story "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss. We also made our own green eggs and ham!

All of our students loved the story! It is a fun story!

Ms. Malcom put a recipe for green eggs and ham on the ActivBoard. We had a great time following the recipe step-by-step to make our green eggs and ham!

First, we had to crack the eggs!

We had to add milk and green food coloring!

Then, we had to mix them!

We had to add the ham and mix some more!

We had to spray the electric frying pan and cook the eggs!

I must say that I think green eggs and ham were a hit! They were wonderful! Most of our students even asked for seconds!

Ms. Malcom even loved them!

At the end of the lesson, everyone had to decided whether or not they liked green eggs and ham! As a whole, the answer was "YES!".

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
