Last Thursday, our class went to Turner Lake for the Special Olympics Award Ceremony. It was a very special time for all of our athletes!
This is a picture of our class at the Award Ceremony! Thanks to Ms. Stowe and Ms. Ford for taking care of things while Ms. Malcom was at home sick!
At the Award Ceremony each athlete was awarded a trophy for thier dedication, deterimination, and hard work in all of the Special Olympics events this year. We have participated in roller skating, bowling, and basketball. We will hopefully participate in the track and field events once they are rescheduled. They were cancelled due to inclement weather!
