We always look forward to our Thursday group speech sessions with Mrs. Chappell! Last week, we read the story Run Turkey Run! It was about a turkey that ran and hid from the farmer so that he wouldn't be eaten on Thanksgiving!
After reading the story, it was time to act it out! Tony was the farmer!
Eliana was the duck!
La'Shawn was the horse!
Lucy was the pig!
Jameer volunteered to be the turkey! Run Turkey Run!
After we acted out the story, we danced to the "Chicken Dance" song. Below, DeAsia dances with Mrs. Belcher! Mrs. Belcher is our long-term substitute while Mrs. Higdon is out! We love her and she is so wonderful with our students!
After the "Chicken Dance", we made edible turkeys! Yum!
