Eliana did this alphabet train puzzle for morning work! She did a fabulous job and put the entire thing in order all by herself!
Tony and Jameer have been working very hard on their handwriting skills. They have been working on writing their names and recently joined Eliana and Lucy in completing writing journals each morning. We are so proud of them! As you can see by the look on Tony's face (below), journal writing requires a lot of concentration!

This week we have been learning about shapes. We've learned how to tell the difference between triangles, circles, squares, and rectangles by looking at the number of sides and angles they have. We also learned that squares and rectangles are called quadrilaterals because they have four sides and four angles. On Monday, we broke up into groups and found pictures of circles, triangles, and quadrilaterals that we would see in real life. The pictures of us presenting our projects to the class are below!
During indoor recess, Lucy, Eliana, Jameer, Mrs. Stowe, and Mrs. Belcher decided to paint some Christmas trees!
