We are so lucky, at South Salem Elementary, to have our own therapy dog named Sugar! Sugar is a great dog and we love when she can come to visit our classroom!

Cornhusk Dolls!
In celebration of the upcoming holiday, we have been learning about several vocabulary words relating to Thanksgiving. Today, one of the vocabulary words that we focused on was "corn". We learned about how the Pilgrams used corn to survive as well as different ways that we use corn. We learned that we can plant corn, pop corn, and eat corn.
Special Olympics Bowling Competition!
Last Friday, we had our Special Olympics Bowling Competition! We were so excited to show what great bowlers we have become through our hard work and practice!
La'Shawn was very excited!
Ms. Malcom gives the girls at "pep talk" before the competition began!
Fun Pictures!
While waiting for the bus to pick us up on Friday, for bowling, we decided to take some fun pictures! They actually turned out very cute and I wanted to share them!
