Since we have been learning about energy and healthy/ unhealthy foods, Mrs. Stowe decided to focus on this for her Fun Fantastic Friday activity. Since Enoch was the "Class STARfish", he was the teacher's helper!
Mrs. Stowe discussed the Food Guide Pyramid, that we created earlier in the week. She also allowed each student to come up, pick out their favorite food, and determine the food group that it belonged to!
Enoch was so proud that he was able to help Mrs. Stowe!
Mrs. Stowe discussed the fact that certain foods give us energy. She (and Enoch) gave each student some bread as well as peanut butter & jelly!
Each student was responsible for making their own peanut butter & jelly sandwich!
Then, it was time to eat it up!
Ms. Malcom found a very fun song called "Peanut Butter Jelly Time". We played it and danced! Even still, the students ask to hear the "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" song!
