I must say that, in my profession, I cry a lot! The good thing is, they are tears of joy! There is no better sound, to a teacher, than when you hear your non-readers work so hard to improve their reading skills and eventually READ!! We have worked so hard over the past nine weeks to improve our reading skills and learn to read. When we pull out our reading books, our students actually get excited to "show off" what they have learned. What a wonderful feeling! Below, are a few pictures of our reading groups, working so hard, last week!
I am so proud of all of our students and their hard work! I look forward to watching them progress, even more, throughout the year!
