Since we have been learning about tally charts and graphing, on Monday we decided to create a tally chart about what face we wanted carved into our pumpkin!
.....and the winning face was........ After creating our tally chart, allowing everyone to choose which face they would like, and declaring a winner, we set out to carve our pumpkin!
Mrs. Higdon carved our pumpkin for us!
Once the top of the pumpkin was removed, Mrs. Higdon showed us what was inside the pumpkin!
Mrs. Holland demonstrated how fun it was to clean out the pumpkin!
Lucy, Santoes, and DeAsia were willing to help clean out the pumpkin!
Then, it was time to turn our pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern! Since the "surprised" face recieved the most tally marks, Mrs. Higdon carved a "surprised" face jack-o-lantern!
