After music, we enjoyed a banana split party. We had so many toppings to choose from. They were sooooooo yummy!

Caroling!
We had a great time on our last day before the holiday break. Before our holiday party, we got together to enjoy one of our favorite things, music!
We enjoyed solos from some of our friends!

A Little Holiday Shopping!
The Thursday before the holiday break, we went on a trip to Dollar Tree and McDonalds. At Dollar Tree, we shopped for holiday presents to give our family and friends. Below are a few pictures from our trip. Unfortunately, I left my camera at Dollar Tree and didn't get it back until that afternoon. Therefore, we don't have any pictures of our fun lunch at McDonalds! :-(
Mrs. Thomas, one of our wonderful substitutes and friend, took time out of her day to go on our trip. We were so happy to have her join us. At Dollar Tree she helped Lucy and Joyria pick out presents for their family and friends!
We had a blast and appreciated having Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Sterling join us! We hope that everyone loved their gifts that were picked out for them.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

A Future Photographer!
Last Friday, Tony asked me if he could take some pictures with my camera. Feeling very brave and thinking that I should probably let the child explore his future employment options (LOL!), I agreed! So.. I turned the camera on and let him roam the room to take pictures! When I checked my camera, after school, I could only smile! Below are some of Tony's pictures! Enjoy!
Rule #1 for all future photographers- Perfect the self-portrait!
Preparing for the Holidays!
Bird Trees!
A few weeks ago we had a very special visitor. Mr. John, Mrs. Stowe's husband, offered to come and do a special project with our class. Mr. John explained that when he was little, his grandmother would always make bird trees with him at Christmas time. Mr. John wanted to share this tradition with us! He was so nice and spent lots of time preparing for this project!
Tony and Jameer (below) were so excited to begin making their bird tree!
