Grass People!

Our unit in April has focused on working together. Our first story was about a family who worked together to make a garden.
We decided to put our "together-ness" to use to make grass people.

First, we made faces to go on our plastic cups!

Then, we added some soil!

This was Santoes' kind of activity!

This is why. Santoes loves any type of mess. He just laughed and laughed!

Last, we added grass seeds and watered them!

I will post a picture of the finished products. They have turned out really cute!

Milkshakes!

Our unit in March focused on tools that we use at home and at school. One tool that was listed as one of our vocabulary words was blender. So, of course we had to put our blender to use. We made chocolate milkshakes!

The milkshakes were a hit with most of our students (and teachers too)!

Good to the very last drop!

UNO!

Here we are playing our absolute favorite game... UNO!!
We have played this game for a few years now. It is wonderful practice for the identification of colors and numbers as well as for turn-taking and socialization. Our students have become soooo good at playing it and ask to play every Fun Fantastic Friday!  :-)
