We're Still Growing!

It's hard to believe, but we have grown, EVEN MORE, this week! We have a new student, Jonathan, and a new paraprofessional, Mrs. Holland! Jonathan is in Kindergarten! He is a very sweet boy and loves playing on the playground. Mrs. Holland came to us from Ficquett Elementary where she has worked for two years! We welcome both of them to our class!
Below is our new class picture! Everyone was present today, so we took advantage of the opportunity!

That's one busy classroom! :-)

Fun in Adaptive PE!

Every Tuesday and Wednesday we have Adaptive PE with Coach Wildman and Mrs. Bell! Not only do we work on improving our gross motor skills, but we also have a GREAT time!
On Wednesdays we are very lucky to have two very special helpers join us in Adaptive PE. Laney and Hunter are in Mrs. Frix's 3rd grade class! We enjoy spending time with them and appreciate all of their help!

DeAsia LOVES Adaptive PE! You can just see the excitement on her face!

In Adaptive PE we run!

We turn the jump rope!

We go under the jump rope!

We jump over the jump rope!

Thanks Coach Wildman and Mrs. Bell for making Adaptive PE so fun! We love you both!

Back by Popular Demand!

So... our last "Music Video" was VERY popular with our students! Therefore, we decided to write another song and record another video (after the students left for the day)! As you can see below, we had to call "Cut" several times before the video was finally recorded! Pause the playlist on the right! Enjoy!

Three Little Pigs Book Reports!

It is only the second week of school, but we have been working hard already! Yesterday and today, we read "The Three Little Pigs". Today, we made our own book reports and had to present them to the class!
Mrs. Higdon's group did a great job on their book reports!

Ms. Smith (below) comes into our classroom to assist 1 1/2 hours each day. She helped Enoch present his book report that he worked so hard on!

Santoes tells the class about the characters from the story!

Tyler shows the class the title page of his book!

Ms. Malcom's group also did a fabulous job with their book reports!
